Why is this bothering me? [Completed]

Jan 29, 2007 12:08

Character(s): Hayate, random train employee conductor person
Content: Hayate gets fed up with the train (even though it's like...barely gotten anywhere). And figures that maybe it would be worth it to not be wasting time...even if it means wasting energy Leafé.
Setting: still in Niflheim, somewhere between Niflheim station and H9, but still closer to Niflheim station.
Time: still afternoon. XD Maybe about 10 minutes 5 minutes have passed since the last train post? ;)
Warnings: nothing

The wind knight glanced down at Himeno's reply again, wondering why he felt like he was betraying something. Namely, duty and urgency. He leaned his head back against the seat, trying to figure out things. It couldn't have been much more than five minutes, maybe ten. The train was moving, but honestly, he couldn't seem to find himself getting comfortable with the fact that he was letting time pass. An employee of the train was walking down the aisle punching tickets. The Knight handed his to the blonde individual with his own empty blue-eyed stare.

The conductor not knowing why the knight looked vaguely like he was overthinking something, said quietly, "You can open a window. Also, there's a small platform through the door here."

Hayate did listen to the conductor's suggestions, but closed his eyes a moment, thinking of other things while the conductor continued his walk back down the aisle for tickets on the other side. Of course, the conductor's suggestions were also being used for other means. The Knight stood up, and walked to the door as the conductor left the car.

The Knight stood on the small platform outside the train car, leaning against the small rail. His thoughts were still elsewhere although being outside of the train car helped a bit. They weren't very far from the station. He looked down at the map, trying to pinpoint a guess of how much Leafé it would take to get to the Prétear. He typed his Prétear a quick reply(rewriting quite a bit of it a few times) and hoped this would be worth the Leafé it would take. After all, he wasn't going to let the Prétear fade without a fight, if he had any say in it.

He allowed the wind to lift him up, and when he was high enough in the air, he thought only of the wind and the Prétear. He'd be there soon, as promised.
