New place, new experiences [complete]
Characters: Latias, The Lone Power
Content: Latias roams the city...a little sight-seeing, perhaps.
Setting: Muspelheim area, headed towards N-3
Time: Afternoon

After a bit of time, she decided there probably wasn't any need to keep on running anymore.
The girl slowed to a stop and looked over her shoulder, in case that awful gray thing had followed her. Nowhere in sight, thankfully; she let out a silent sigh of relief. What the heck was that? She searched for a word within her knowledge to help her describe such a thing; 'ghost' settled in her mind, though she had a feeling that still wasn't a proper word for it. It would have to do for now, however.
She looked down at the thing the man back there had given her, holding it in her still-shaking hands. It appeared to be something electronic, though for what purpose she wasn't sure; at first glance it looked rather complicated to her. Latias poked at it for a few moments before becoming bored with it. She tucked it away under her arm for now.
Something about the buildings in this place reminded her of Altomare, even though they didn't look the same - and there was still the distinct lack of familiar-looking canals that definitely set the two cities apart. Still, at least the place didn't look nearly as odd as it had when she'd been outside.
Shapes flittered and moved past the edge of her vision, and she turned around every time she noticed one; however, none of them were even remotely like a Dusk, but instead were thankfully human-shaped - the various townsfolk hurrying about to wherever it was that they were going. Latias noticed that a few of them looked at her curiously, and she ended up just giving them a friendly wave, compounding their curious looks even more. What she didn't realize was that compared to the normal folk here, she stood out quite a bit.
Oh well.
She took out her journal again, and decided to fiddle with at as she moved forward; perhaps she could figure out the secret behind this thing while she explored around here. However, this meant that her attention wasn't fully on what might have been in front of her...
