Setting: Vanaheim Gate
Time: Morning

Disoriented was probably the lightest way of describing his condition. Itachi found himself Kami only knows where and had a relatively long list of thoughts, opinions, and feelings to make at the current moment. He was confused about where he was, curious to know how he had arrived here, uncertain of where Shisui was, or the ill effects of this little side trip, concerned about what would happen back home without the ability to see the plan through, and more than a little annoyed at this unexpected turn of events.

Before him stood a gate, two trees, obviously fake, and a lone attendant to keep watch for whoever, or whatever he might be keeping watch for. It screamed strange and suspicious to him, and with great care, Itachi approached. He couldn't make a hidden approach, not without something to hide in or behind, and so he had to make the blatant approach. The man at the gate stopped him before he could pass.

"Welcome to Paixao!"

Itachi narrowed his eyes at the man, offering a gaze as disconcerting as if he had the Sharingan activated. "What is this 'Pai-shao'?"

The man before him smiled, a little too cheerfully, and shoved pamphlets and some black device into his hands. "Paixao is the city beyond!" Definitely too cheerful. "Now then, your name?"

Itachi stared at him. This guy was just.... too much. "Uchiha Itachi," he replied hesitantly.

"Right then! Off you go!" And the guy shoved him through the gate, sending him stumbling into the city. Only grace and years of training preventing Itachi from dumping the load in his arms. The gate attendant was lucky his hands were full, for Itachi was seriously considering chucking a kunai at the guy. Honestly! The nerve of some people!

Itachi shoved the pamphlets and device into his hip pouch before setting off into the city, on the rooftops, of course. His plan was first to orient himself, and then to see if he could find anyone he knew. Maybe, just maybe, Sasuke had made the journey, as well.
