He definitely was not where he was intending on going. While getting lost was not a rare occurrence in itself, it was where he landed that was rather peculiar. From the second he had arrived, he had noticed the differences. The trees were much smaller than he was used to and the grass seemed less tall. This was not a field unlike other fields though, and it seemed like regular fields he has seen on Earth. The only awkward thing was, this field seemed to have changed him.
“What the.. hell..?” He muttered to himself, eyes moving across his body. It didn’t seem different, at least as far as the look of it went - until he felt the brush of something against his cheek. He brushed it off with his hand only to find that it seemed quite attached to his head. His hand followed the strange strand to top of his head, and found another awkward change. His head was no longer the cylinder-like shape that he used to have but rather, oval. And there was hair on it, long hair.
What had he transformed into? Certainly not an animal, since they seemed to either be hairless or have hair all over. The only thing he could think of that had oval shaped heads with hair on top of them were … humans. He cringed at the thought that he might have been transformed to look like one of those stupid creatures that were commonly rolled up into the cousins and Prince’s katamari. As much as he liked the added height, it wasn’t exactly worth it if he was transformed onto one of them.
However, his main source of distress was in the fact that he was being transformed at all. What kind of a place was this? He had never known of a place that transformed others. Sure, Earth did have some things that could change others - like make-up but you weren’t just automatically painted on a face when you reached the planet.
He caught sight of a dome as he looked around the area once again, and knew that it could be the source of answers to his questions. Maybe there was someone or something he could extract some answers from? As much as he hated socializing, he didn’t have much of a choice now. Even if there weren’t people, there could still be a hint of something, a map - anything.
He might as well start heading off to the place, now - at least that is what he thought he should do. It seemed almost inevitable he was going to be heading to it anyway, since there was nothing else around. He found himself, moments later stomping off in the direction of the strange dome with a frustrated grumble. Why was his life just one bad situation after another?
He hadn’t much time to think about this before he had made it to the dome’s entrance, which was quite a view even for his standards. Not that he was much into works of art but it seemed to indicate that some intelligent life was here, or someone who can give him an idea of what this place was. The person who was at the gate, however, was far from what he was expecting.
The man looked almost exactly like the humans that he was accustomed to rolling up, only the grin on the human’s face made him seem even more retarded. Still, help was help - as unwilling as Kuro was to speak to the man. Besides, the human seemed a bit eager to speak to him, talking almost as soon as he was about to walk to the other side of the gate.
“Welcome to Paixao, kid!” The man spoke enthusiastically as he held up a pad and notepaper. The ebony-haired ‘boy’ almost thought of ditching this guy then and there. Despite he may have looked like a small human kid in this form, he definitely did not wish to be referred to one himself. He found himself scowling at the insult as well as the added fact that he would have to respond - seeing as this guy wasn’t going to let him go.
“Kuro…” He muttered, his head tilted upward to glare at the man. The human may have helped him answer an unasked question but it wasn’t as though he was going to blow off the insult to his pride. The person didn’t seem to care though, or even register Kuro’s dislike towards him. Instead, he simply handed him a rectangular object and pushed him to the other side of the gate.
Getting lost and transformed in this ‘Pieshow’ place and now two blows to his pride... This was turning out to be a splendid day.
