Characters: Sanzo, Hakkai, Gojyo, and... others? D:
Content: The Sanzo party minus Goku gets off the train, only to discover that Nobodies really do NOT make for a good welcoming party.
Setting: In the Vanaheim area.
Time: Mid-afternoon.
Warnings: Sanzo and Gojyo in the same thread together. Oh... and violence! (Or do those go hand in hand?)
Well, that certainly was an exciting ride!
... alright, so sarcasm wasn't working all that well. At least they were able to exit the train without incident, if nothing else.
Hakkai had been fortunate enough to fall asleep somewhere between "damned monk" and "stupid kappa," although both phrases (and other ones like them) were tossed around at least thrice every five minutes or so. His original intention had been to close his eyes and just rest for a few minutes, but before he knew it he could no longer hear the roar of the train on the tracks, nor feel the rumbling underneath his feet. The train had stopped, and suddenly they were in Vanaheim.
So on the bright side (if there was one), he was feeling refreshed and... well, ready to handle Sanzo and Gojyo. Putting them together produced a reaction not unlike water in acid, but hopefully now he'd be able to tolerate the inevitable explosion.
"Let's see..." By shifting his things underneath one arm, the healer was able to pull out his journal and open it to the map. They were in Vanaheim, and had plenty of space to cover. "With any luck, he'll be in the area. There are a good number of establishments here, after all... most of them restaurants, or something like it."
He noticed a soup kitchen some ways away. Surely, if Goku was in Vanaheim, he would go there first. Poor thing... he probably didn't have any money. Hakkai frowned at the thought, but it didn't last long.
"Any suggestions, Sanzo?" he asked, wearing a decidedly lazy smile. "We could search the area in less time by splitting up... although, if your journal is still out of commission, we wouldn't have a way of contacting each other."
Maybe Gojyo should... oh, no. That was just asking for disaster. Hakkai laughed and put the journal away. "Or, if Gojyo wants to search on his own, the two of us can stay together... although I daresay it would be less productive."
Again, he looked to Sanzo for the final answer. Goku was, after all, his monkey.
