Belle looked at the man, not sure of what to make of him. She couldn't speak Japanese as far as she knew. Maybe it had to do with this place. It could be enchanted just like the castle was when she first went there. She decided not to comment on it though. She didn't want him to be any more suspocious of her than he already was.

"My name is Belle. It's nice to meet you, Subaru" She smiled. He was someone to talk to. And he was offering food. Well she wasn't overly hungry but she thought it might be wise to eat something. She didn't know when she'd be able to after this. "I'll come with you" She nodded.

Adventuring was always better with a friend anyhow. Not that he was exactly a friend. But all friendships started out small. And he was nice enough to offer to pay. She imagined if Cogsworth were with her, he would be telling her to be wary of this stranger. But Lumiere would make friends with the man too. She was always amused by the two of them.

She hoped Beast wouldn't mind. It was just dinner after all and nothing serious. She wished her prince had come with her though. Maybe he is lost in this place too. Maybe she'd find him here somewhere. It was someone to look for...that at least gave her a reason for being there.
