Character(s): Fai D. Flowright and Chii. (The D stands for Dork.) Feel free to jump in~
Content: Fai goes to buy Chii some new clothes. He's a very giving person, you see.
Setting: Auntie Unde's.
Time: Tuesday Afternoon.
Warnings: More crazy cuteness, shyeah.

It's like having a 'Chii away from Chii,' he mused, as the two of them got off of the train.

Fai knew there was something about this new Chii that would always make him a little uneasy, but at the same time, he had to admit that she was fun to have around. Why? Well, because she was so clueless, innocent and impressionable. Whatever he did, she would do too. Wherever he went, she would go too... much like the Chii he created back in Celes, only this place was much more fun. There were places to go, people to see, things to do... like shopping, for instance! Chii needed new clothes, and Fai had no complaints. Cute as she was, he couldn't very well have her walking around in a bath robe.

That morning they had travelled from Morem o Lisboa to an... interesting place called Auntie Unde's. Unable to read this city's language, Fai let Chii scan the map for clothing stores, and oddly enough this was the only one around. There was another store much closer to their hotel, but it catered to a more... adult audience. He didn't know how to explain 'adult audiences' to Chii, so when she asked, he just told her that sometimes big people like to wear certain things and play with big-person toys for fun.

She still didn't get it.

Perhaps that was for the best.

Once they were off the train, Fai set off for Auntie Unde's at a brisk pace, knowing that his Chii-away-from-Chii was close behind. He would take a few steps, look behind him, smile a kitty smile, and then keep on walking. But he wasn't really checking for Chii so much as he was scanning the crowd for certain kitties, puppies and white porkbuns. In a place like this, they were bound to stick out.

"Does Chii know what she wants, meow?" he asked, waiting for her to catch up before giving her a tiny, playful hug. Fai had already gotten used to treating her like she was a ragdoll cat. He would have tried to lift her, but she was surprisingly heavy for a girl so small. Perhaps it was because she was so full of cute.

But naturally, a cute kitty such as himself was always surrounded by cute people. Unless they were big, angry puppies.
