Character(s): The Prince
Content: The Prince falls through a plot hole and finds himself conveniently in Joutenheim.
Setting: On train, then Joutenheim - N8
Time: Saturday early morning
Warnings: None
It was always moments like these that The Prince knew he should remember. Or maybe it was the moment before the moment he was currently in that The Prince should be remembering. He scrunched up his face in confusion at that thought. Well, that hadn't made any sense, even to him. He had gotten off the train once before, hadn't he? Now he was back on one and he couldn't at all remember how he had done so.
He sat up, gazing through still blurry eyes into the night. There was nothing but the occasional light that zipped past the window. Still in a tired stupor he failed to notice the absence of his traveling partner. He was content to lay his arms across the window's edge and look out. Inside the light of the cabin the dark didn't seem nearly as scary. Monsters couldn't attack him on the train, could they?
To reassure himself he turned to his side. But what he was looking for wasn't there at all. He was very awake now and he stood up on the seat to look around. Auron was no where to be found. Dejected, The Prince sat back down in his seat. He removed his hat and wadded it up like a pillow. He curled up in a ball and clutched his katamari to his chest. Doing so made him think of home, and his father. If only Father were here now, then The Prince could be brave. But he wasn't, and so The Prince squeezed his eyes shut and tried not to think of monsters ripping the train off the tracks. Oh, it was so much safer to travel by rainbow! ("We think it has better gas mileage too," his father had once said. The Prince hadn't know what it had meant but if Father said it, it must be good!)
He awoke this time to light streaming in through the window of the train. He saw people leaving and soon found himself stumbling off as well. He looked bewilderingly at his surroundings. None of it looked familiar. Not that much in Piesow really did. His lip began to tremble and before he could begin to cry he ran to the side of the station. He sat down with a hard plop and buried his face in his hat. This was worse than getting lost in space. At least in the Cosmos he knew his father was always there. But in Pieshow? He had no idea at all.
[ooc: Jon - I can make a new post for the actual Jenet and Prince reunion later, ok?]
