For three days Kenpachi had lurked in hidden corners and darkened alleys, since abandoning his Shinigami bretheren with little more than a note and a backward glance. He'd learned the ins-and-outs of this little area in the meantime, from Paradisio Hotel to the north and the train station in the south. He was unsure as to whether or not he should just bite his tongue and go back to the familiarity of the Shinigami at the Morem o Lisboa, or continue to lurk around here.

He hadn't killed anyone (yet), but he'd gone above and beyond the call to terrify some of the residents. No doubt there'd be rumors circulating about some giant white and black beast who was prowling the area. Not like he cared, really. But whatever fantasies they dreamed up would be hilarious to hear.

Kenpachi smirked briefly, turning from a side street onto the main drag of sorts, his hair un-belled and un-spiked, hanging in his face like a great black curtain. (He was suffering from a headache powerful enough to kill a Menos at the moment, and the tightly-pulled spikes did little to help it.) Unfortunately the wide berth he was given thanks to his size and appearance was currently being blocked by three strangers and a peculiar-looking critter. He wasn't quite on top of them yet, but in about 20 steps he would be.

Not like that mattered, Kenpachi just kept on plowing towards them, one hand resting quietly on the hilt of his zanpakutou, the other swaying idly at his side.
