I'm pretty new, but! I would be very keen on moving to DreamWidth. As far as I can tell, LJ is going to continue down the path of becoming completely unusable in terms of RolePlay. At least, it'd be like the attempts to roleplay on tumblr. I don't mind waiting, but I don't feel like I'll get the enjoyment out of using LJ as a website alone as these changes progress, so I see no reason to be overly attached to it.

I'm one of the people who's... pretty highly offended at InsaneJournal's motif, because even though I can get rid of Tweak, I don't like the use of the word 'asylum'. It feels juvenile in its mockery and attempts to make insanity 'cool' or 'fun', and that in and of itself is just kind of gross to me. Particularly given that I have personal experience with mental health facilities and I don't see that sort of thing as something to joke about.

I've already begun to settle into DreamWidth (before this whole debacle started, even), I'm already starting a game there, so I'm ready to put Simba's journal there and head on out. Just give the word and I'll be ready.
