The Week in Review
It's been a busy week in Paixao. Kefka let loose on the park, killing many innocent civilians and gaining many enemies in the process. Meanwhile, Yuna was saved from Hades's clutches and Maleficent met with Soma Cruz while Urd helped solve multiple relationship problems. Finally, a decidedly strange-acting Timon was released back into the domes amidst unrest within the Organization.
New Characters
We've got a few new and returning characters this time around. Please welcome Mao (madsciencemaou), Ivan (sparkplasma), Sara Sidle (scientific_lady) and Seifer (uritemalamundi)!
Weather
Erratic storms rage beneath the domes throughout the week.
Announcements
First off, a change for journals! No one will realize till someone happens to try, but the next person to attempt to use their journal outside the dome will find it in fact works, even through the door to the island.
And secondly, a new rule has been tabled this week, and we want to see what you guys think of this. It's a new Activity Check rule regarding players who are inactive.
The new rule is to deal with the issue of people who decide to leave the game without actually dropping, often leaving canon mates stuck while waiting for the AC to remove them. So the rule is as follows:
If you fail to check in and are inactive, we will email you. If you reply and wish to keep your character, you have until the next check to get back in shape and reply the next check. (If you don't reply the next check, the character is removed as per how things currently work.) If we receive no reply, we'll remove your character right there and then.
