new job!
so i start two new jobs in the next two days. i'm extremely excited about it, no more hospitality industry, fuck that shit, i'm NEVER going back to it. I start today at a sports marketing firm in N. Dallas, and then tomorrow hafta drive down to Hood County and copy a bunch of data off their network for a real estate company outta Plano. these next few weeks are gonna be really interesting. I'm going to be going through contract signing with the company I've been doing production and engineering work for. I'm extremely excited about that, I'm really the only one that they've asked to sign a contract at this point. Cali pulled me aside last night and told me that he wants me to continue to step up into a leadership role within the company and also wants to make sure that he keeps me around for a while. YAY!
The more I've been working on this project, the more I've realized how shitty people really are. I've been happier in the past month than I have been in years, and it shows in my personality now. My best friend, or now ex-best friend couldn't handle it, and turned into a completely jealous hater. We've exchanged words numerous times, but now, as of yesterday, any form or sort of friendship is gone. I guess you live and learn huh? Just sad music has to come between us.
Onto better and happier things, I've got a friend coming in from out of town for a day or two next week that I can't wait to hang out with. We're on the same level in so many different ways, that it makes me glad for the time i have to continue to develop a friendship that's kinda popped up outta no where. Anyways, time to get ready for this new job, Gotta leave in just over an hour! Hope everyone has a good day.
