What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Visited Montana. Celebrated a 1 year anniversary with my boyfriend. Took boudoir pictures.
Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I kept about 80% of them. I'll make resolutions eventually.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I can recall.
Did anyone close to you get married?
Colin and Theresa! The wedding was beautiful.
Did anyone close to you die?
My great Grandmother passed away. So did a family friend.
What foreign countries did you visit?
Pretty much just Canada.

A college degree!

Nov. 4th - We elected Barrack Obama
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Living on my own, and weening myself off financial help from parents.
What was your biggest failure?
Taking my friendships for granted, and not keeping in touch better.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing too bad. 12 weeks of cramps - but that's normal.
What was the best thing you bought?
Tickets to Teatro ZinZanni! SO amazingly worth every penny.
Whose behavior merited celebration in 2008?
I'm pretty proud of my sister for working hard at her RA job.
Whose behavior in 2008 made you appalled and depressed?
Matt's roommates. SO many reasons.
Where did most of your money go?
Rent, Groceries, EverydayMusic- it's a bad habit, really.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Making the children's theatre troupe, MOTley.
Compared to this time last year, are you:
-- Happier or sadder? Happier, I think - it's hard to tell.
-- Thinner or fatter? Probably about the same... maybe a little flabbier.
-- Richer or poorer? Poorer, but I like being without my parent's financial help.
What do you wish you'd done more of?
Going to concerts. I feel out of touch with live music.
What do you wish you'd done less of?
Eating poorly.
How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent Christmas eve with my dad's side of the family, Christmas morning with my parents and sister, and Christmas Day with Matt's family.
How many people did you sleep with in 2008?
This question is a little personal, but I'll answer it anyway: just Matt.

I haven't had cable all year. I do like Arrested Development on DVD.
Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't think so.
What was the best book you read?
I read a lot this year, but the best has to be Watchmen! Holy crap it's amazing! It's a graphic novel, does that count?
What was your greatest musical discovery?
Like I said before, I feel out of touch with new music. Fleet Foxes are pretty awesome though.
What did you want and get in 2008?
To find Love. Awww...
What was your favorite film that came out this year?
WALL-E was pretty awesome.
I can tell you what my LEAST favorite film this year was: "The Happening". What a fucking joke.
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 21. Matt and my Cousin took me out drinking in Downtown Bellingham. I don't remember much of it, and apparently spent it puking all over everyone/everything.
Did you meet any new friends this year?
Yeah: Scott & Molly. Probably a few others.
Did you have a job?
I worked for the YMCA all year.
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I can't really think of anything... 2008 was pretty ok.
How would you describe your personal fashion concept and what about your physical appearance has changed this year?
I suppose you could call it "Mildly hipster, with 70's colors, and accessories from some grandmother's closet." I tried to get dressed up a lot more often, but I wear less makeup than I did last year.
What kept you sane?
Holy shit - Matt kept me sane. Other than him, probably music and wine.
Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Still Jack Black... that hasn't changed.

Sarah Palin's speeches, womens rights, Gay/Lesbian rights, and the election in general.
Who did you miss?
Ashley and Amanda hands down!
Who was the best new person you met?
Scott & Molly. They're a couple, not a person, but I always hang out with them together.
