berkeley
blah blah.
there are several gorgeous, huge, scholarly looking libraries on campus at uc berkeley, and a student cafe called the free speech cafe. the whole place smells like sage and liberalism and learning.
i hoped i would visit uc davis and love it so much that not getting accepted to berkeley would be no problem, but no such luck. although the davis campus is very green and nice and serene.
i dunno.
to cheer myself up about the whole stupid college thing, i went to this bookstore in berkeley called "half price books" or something, and bought myself the most adorable travel sized copy of Jane Eyre. its so tiny and green and so old looking, i love it.
other than that, things are going pretty well. im going to dance camp this week and then leaving for hawaii next tuesday. i miss most of my friends, and have only seen a very few of them this summer.
things with andrew and i are going well, so thats constantly surprising and very very good.
it seems like hardly anyone believes me when i say things are good with us, which makes me sad and a little doubtful, but oh well i guess. im happy.
and there are such happy things to look forward to.
