Boo! Some fucker just broke into my car and stole my stereo. It was, however, vastly less valuable than your camera, though.
Are you guys going to make bab5 this week? I stayed home yesterday (seems like a bad place to go if you're feeling vaguely sick), and had to leave early last week to put K to bed. Point being: i keep missing you guys.
I'm really sorry to hear that your car stereo was taken - that sucks. I don't know if we will make it to Bab5 next week - we went this past week in Mt. View. It depends on how much stuff we get done and where we're at. Hope you feel better soon!

The kitties are great and affectionate. I haven't seen hide nor hair of Cyn's cat, but Kragen spotted her in the closet in the bedroom.
If you can check out prices on a nikon d40x that would be cool. I had 2 nikkor lenses 18-55 & 55-200 mm. Don't knock yourself out, just if you happen to pass by one and see.

i was pretty angry when my first bike was stolen in berkeley.
one day in hayward, i passed by this card that was seriously smashed in on the entire passenger side of the car - definitely had frame issues. and in the middle of all that badness, the car owner had put a tiny bumper sticker that just read: "i hate people" and it made me crack up laughing. i try to remember that when bad things happen to me. i wished i would have had a photo of that.
i was also thinking that it might be kind of worse if this had been your day:

* boo - our documents didn't get notarized, certified and apostilled so that Argentina will not recognize these as official
i think you still have a bigger yay despite the camera loss...?
