Wild Turkeys
Originally uploaded by blmurch. I just spoke with my family and most of the guests at the farm in Bolinas and then my sister in LA via SKYPE for a little over an hour. That was awesome! Skype still has some quality issues, but it was cheap (a little over US $2.00) and easy. I'm very thankful for being able to stay in contact with my friends and family, even when we are so very far away. Buenos Aires is a wonderful city, and I'll write more later about that, but now I just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope you are having a good time with friends, family, loved ones and the like.
I took the photo of the turkeys in Hayward in the summer of 2005 and thought it was somewhat appropriate for today's post.
