beautiful wedding
Torbin and Susannah got married on Saturday at my parent's house in Bolinas!!!!!!! It was gorgeous and wonderful and happy and I'm so glad that we came back to share in their love and witness their commitment to each other. It was great to see old-time friends and I'll post more photos when I get a better connection - dial up hurts me. High points of the weekend include:
1) my brother coming home unexpectedly and surprising me silly
2) buying a wedding outfit in about an hour (once at the store) on Friday evening
3) the love that was evident all day between Susannah and Torbin
4) understanding again what wedding vows are and how important they are
5) dancing with kragen
6) seeing so many friends and catching up
7) meeting new people
8) seeing my parents dance as they do so wonderfully together
9) seeing the love, laughter and lightness in the community
I will also write more soon, but it's late and we need to get to bed, we have a full week ahead.
