pay no attention to that man behind the curtain...

As was said at the table on Thursday dinner,"the curtain has been revealed and we're seeing the man behind the curtain, and he's only a man". There was talk of "Team B", "the Power of Nightmares", Copyright issues and patent issues, Google Print & Internet Archive book scanning initiatives, children, Blair talking Bush out of bombing al-Jazeera, Representative Murtha, the book Blink & autistics, tipping points, and more. Cheney is one scary dude, he's been planning on having executive power all his career and he now has it. But, his protections are crumbling. Let's see how long this takes to all come crumbling down.

Thanksgiving was wonderful and intimate at 15. Normally my parents' tribes' gatherings are around 25-30 people. This was due to a large part, my siblings not being around. =( Today, Friday, Kragen and I went on a bike ride to Stinson Beach and back to Bolinas - all of around 10 miles. I love the smell and look of the earth after a rain and it rained quite a bit last night and some this morning. Everything was wet, but clean. There were some rocks on the road, but we managed to avoid most of them. There were un-noticed tailwinds on the ride out to Stinson. This meant that there were headwinds on the way back. Headwinds make me cranky and I got pissy at Kragen, but not horribly so. We're back in the city now and planning on going on another ride through the park tomorrow.

I brought back my Honda Civic from the farm. Kragen followed me home in the Beemer. Now, I have to sell one of the cars because we don't want to have two cars and have been managing with just having one. Which one?
