And in other news, my students are not bright. Some of them as individuals are not stupid, but on the whole I am not sure that this crowd could read the instructions on the back of a cake box and follow them properly without: emailing me for help, making offensive claims, confusing the oven and a mailbox, or accidentally rewiring their living rooms with frosting. I don't hate teaching or even dislike most of the students, but I feel concern for the future of the world.
Dreams, tarot, and mineral spheres occupy my spare time, when I'm not hanging out with my awesome friend Phil. He shows me cool video games and makes me crazy mix cds like "The Drunkest of Great Big Sea". The esoteric studies mean that I'm finally doing that last push to memorize all of my card meanings, reading a great in-depth book on tarot, and trying to use my beautiful spheres as visual focus points for relaxing and meditation. Dreams have been almost overwhelming. I get novel plots, hints about the future, great parties, and nothing too terribly disturbing. I'm pleased and attempting to write the best ones down.
Alex is very busy lately with work and I miss him, and I know he misses having a life. I need his help because when I'm too long alone in the house I start doing things like watching tv movie adaptations of fairy tale adaptations and watching to purchase Taylor Swift's new cd. Perhaps I do better with close supervision, but at least I baked bread today.
Can we tell that I'm ready for fall and change?
