Whoa, my day is totally made.
So, my sister-in-law Karen just called. She wanted to thank Alex and me for making her son (James aged 2.5) a mix cd. Evidently James also had a message for Alex. When handed the phone James said, "I like David Bowie".
Wow. just wow. That's so awesome.
James now likes cats, dancing, and David Bowie. He's totally a cool kid.
I want to brain wash him forever, and give him an endless stream of presents and dance parties. That was totally the game we taught him over Christmas visiting in Chicago. Every time he sees me or Alex he wants to put on some music and dance with us.

- Done with Notecards. Now just memorizing and reviewing.
- Done with my last phone call with Dr. Logan before my Quals.
-8 days till the test!
- I've been emailing back and forth with Peter S. Beagle's business manager. First about Dragon*Con and now about Peter possibly having an appearance somewhere in my neck of the woods.
-Super happy to be social again back in town. I get to see Jessica, Dana, Amanda, Mac, Amy, Lee and scads of other cool folks. Rad.
-I love working at Volta. My school stuff gets to exist without difficulty, I am encouraged to eat yummy sample baked goods, and I get to listen to good music most of the time.
-Fried Zucchini is in my future.
