4x09 The my two dads aka the one with no wedding and Frank

Jun 25, 2012 21:14

Last half of the season and the final arcs are beginning already

Previous Part

So just two major plots today the first is all about the wedding

Between Summer

And Seth because they thought they were going to have a kid but aren’t. well the wedding part is still on but both of them want to call it off but don’t want to hurt the other’s feelings

So they talk but don’t talk enough

Ryan and Taylor however both know they both want the wedding off and they even share that but rather then talking and calling it off

They plan a game of one up men-ship each trying to get the other to call it off first because they’re both dumb

It reaches it’s almost final when Summer said they should just run off and elope and rather then call her on it Seth says he won’t marry her without talking to her father first so first think next episode he’s off to Seattle, or so he says…they are both so dumb.

The other main plot is Frank Atwood being in town

Ryan is shocked when he finds out but makes it clear he doesn’t want to meet him, not right now and after the year he’s had and his history with his father I can understand that.

But Frank, with Julie’s help, has to push and make up a lie about having cancer

So Ryan has a family dinner with him and it goes rather well and they’re having fun..

Until Sandy finds out Frank lied about the dying thing and he and Frank get into a yelling/shoving then punching match before Ryan breaks it up and sides with Sandy and tells Franks he’s just not ready and that’s why he said no to start with.

Then Ryan bonds with Sandy making it clear who he thinks of as dad, it’s a long way from season 3 and him not being sure and that’s great Ryan is growing up so much and it’s great to see.

They really are a great family

One last thing, yes that’s Julie and Frank. I go into more later when it becomes a bigger plot point but yeah…
