3x20 The Day After Tomorrow aka the One with the College Breakups

Apr 24, 2012 19:15

The teens get their college letters, all on the same day even if they’re getting them from different schools…odd. With College growing closer everything is getting shaken up.

Previous Part

Okay so this episode was really all about college so we’ll start with that

Summer is thrilled to be going to school with Seth so she’s already dressing him and they haven’t got in yet

While Ryan is worried because Johnny’s cousin isn’t going to college so how’s that going to work

Yeah both of them just aren’t sure about all this.

But then the letters come

Ryan and Summer both get in and are happy, go them

Marissa gets in but just dumps her in the trash and goes out with Volchok

Seth however does not get in…

Which he lies about five minutes later to both Ryan and Summer. And I want to talk about that, Seth lies a lot, about a lot. Sometimes I don’t know if even he knows the truth and thinking about it it’s almost always to protect someone from getting their feeling hurt, but then there are times that’s not the case. Seth likes his stories so much I feel as if he doesn’t mind creating his own. And the problem is no one but Summer seems to call him on his lies. Like Ryan realizes he lies and all he says is you’ve got to tell Summer…that’s it and that seem off for him. Anyways

Seth is trying to still get in

And everyone is getting hugs and Ryan has gotten a whole lot better at getting them then back in season one.

He’s also still smiling a lot, it’s nice.

At the same time

Summer and Marissa make up and stop fighting

And between Summer and Julie Marissa is willing to give the whole college thing another try

So they all go at a Harbor party and everyone is meant to wear the sweatshirt of their college and as you can tell Seth isn’t wearing a Brown one, Summer notices as well.

But rather then well her the truth he lies and says that Brown isn’t for him anymore but she should go…and then he forces her to break up with him…he’s dumb.

Johnny’s cousin, how is Ryan’s date, sees Ryan talking with some friend who I’ve decide are part of the Soccer team and his friends no matter what the Birthday episode said, and realizes that she has no place in Ryan’s new world and staying with him will force him to miss out on the full college experience

So she breaks up with him…

He’s sad

But not as Sad as Summer, bad Seth.

Matt stops by and Kirsten starts putting together what Sandy’s been up to

And she confronts him about it, he said he won’t stop so she walks out.
