3X02 The Shape of things to come AKA the one with Taylor Townsend for the first time
Okay, the third season starts for real, they still have plot threads from season two hanging around but new ones are really starting and this episode is mostly about setting up the arcs of the first third of season three.

First and foremost the two new villains/antagonist of the show.
Taylor Townsend, who is out to out Marissa Marissa, and the Dean of Discipline, who I will call Dean (it’s not his name but whatever) and make D/s and SM jokes about because really with a title like that how can you not (and that is what the show calls him, but he never pulls out a paddle which is to bad)
Now for reasons unknown (or at least I don’t remember them) Dean wants Marissa and Ryan out of Harbor and with the support of the Parents and the board
But not Dr. Kim who is with Sandy and Julie, he gets Marissa thrown out but not Ryan.
No Ryan doesn’t get thrown out until he punches Dean when Dean tried to manhandle Marissa away from a school event
Then the two bond over being out of school together.
The other teen plot is Summer
Along with Seth are taking on
Taylor Townsend in her quest to became the new Marissa. And the two do rather well, right up until Ryan punches Dean anyways.
And other plots being set up for laster this season we have
Jimmy getting into money troubles again, and he needs Caleb’s money to save himself
Which is part of why he ask Julie to be his wife again, she said yes.
And we have Kirsten slowly getting ready to come home, with an other antagonist in tow. All in all it should make a good start to the season anyways.
