The Power of Love aka the one where Sandy forgot their Anniversary

Aug 26, 2011 01:03

I’m really liking this part of the season. I really am

Previous Part

So all the guys are in trouble and well, it’s their own fault really so they have no one to blame but themselves but mostly today is all about Sandy’s mistake

You see it’s his and Kirsten’s Anniversary but he forgot. But he claims to have a trip out of town planned

If Ryan can help him get out of the house long enough to plan it. He also asked for Seths help but Seth…

Spend the night at Alex’s and had asked Ryan to cover for him he doesn’t do a good job

Sandy and Kirsten are understandable mad about this at both of them

They try and defend themselves, or Seth does anyways but it doesn’t work and they get grounded

But then Sandy has the idea of family time before he and Kirsten head out on their Anniversary trip so they go and get the boys

Seth is trying to make out for Seth’s place again

And well Kirsten walks into the pool house

And in on Ryan and Lindsay not studying like they said they would be

The Boys, likely Ryan, make pancakes to make up for it but well

It’s not enough and Ryan looks so sad with his head so low

Well Kirsten is pissed and calls off the trip and yells at Sandy for forgetting as she should really, your rich enough for a PDA or to order flowers a year a head or something

Well Sandy talks to the boys and Ryan offers their help, and please note it’s Ryan not Seth and he does say we even.

Well Sandy have a plan, a nice dinner for him and his wife and for the boys, babysitterscops to watch over them

The boys need it and Kirsten likes the idea enough to head out but then well

And boys broke out so

It’s Sandy and Kirsten after them

To the real Anniversary party planned by the all

MCed by the boys (and please note Ryan’s left arm/hand)

And Sandy singing (but I’m sure it’s not his voice)

Kirsten seems to like it and all is well again, even on the Ryan and Lindsay front

Things hadn’t been going well because Kirsten had asked without asking Lindsay to either be her sister or be Ryan’s girlfriend but she couldn’t be both, Lindsay picked Ryan

Only to find out that Ryan had, on his own without talking to Kirsten picked the Cohens and broke up with Lindsay. Moments before she told him what had just happened with Kirsten, but that didn’t change his mind.

It changed when Kirsten told Ryan to ask Lindsay to dance. And now I’m going to take a moment.

This whole thing just shows how he ranks his world. The it’s really simple too, Cohen’s come first, everything else after. He say what him being with Lindsay was doing to Kirsten so he called it off before he even knew Kirsten was planning to do something the same. He likes Lindsay, he’s happy with her, he smiles a lot more then last season anyways, but he still put Kirsten first without her having to ask. He asked Sandy what he could do to help, he always but them first. When Seth was in Portland he went up there because Sandy asked. He jumped in when he saw the Cohen’s being ripped off. He got into fights over all three Cohen’s in the first four episodes. His world is simple family first, and for Ryan Family is the Cohen’s so the Cohen’s come first. And after what happened with the baby…well I’m spoiling a bit but to Ryan the Cohen’s are more family then an Atwood at this point. At least that’s my take.
