Holy shite has it been forever since I've updated this thing. I guess I need to stop promising to do better with keeping this thing up. That or make time for it more. Ah well, the pleasures of a lazy and fairly boring life afford one little. (Yes, it makes no sense to me either but who here really cares?)

Anywho, I finally managed getting around to seeing "Big Fish" today with Kyvie. It was beautiful, just like you said Eric. Although it didn't move me to tears like you predicted. Told you that though. I especially liked the stories involving Carl. His head was just so misshapen and oddly cute. I will most defintly be purchasing it once the DVD comes out.

Afterwards, I came home and had the house to myself for, oh, maybe twenty minutes before my parents came home and we all ended up watching "Blow" on TNT. Another good movie starred in by Johnny Depp, if I'm allowed my two cents. I loved how they played on the character George's wanting to be a good man and yet he continually felt that smuggling drugs was the only way he could really make money. Watching the conflict inside of the character was really very moving.

THEN my father decided he wanted to see "The Two Towers." I was still nearly moved to tears by Gollum's frst real monolouge where he rejects the controlling "ring" side of himself, or the "ring"'s personality as it makes more sence to me. Gollum has to be my favorite character in the series, with the pair of Pippin and Merry following closely. And, hole crap, would I love to work on a movie like that. not even as an actor or director or anything like that, but just in creating the sets, and the models of the towns, or the costumes. How much fun would that be? Three years creating something for a trilogoy of what are now considered some of the best examples of cinema, ever.

well, I suppose I should stop with the rambling about film now. Seeing as how it is now ... 12:49 am. I should get going to bed.
