That's what she said about Uncle Robert. more than once. yes. blame it all on him being gay.
Do you know why it is a lonely lifestyle? Because it is not acceptable to be gay. to be lesbian. to be bisexual or trans-gender. it is seen as shameful... thus, how many deny what they are? How many live lonely because they are seen as bad for being true to themselves? They are taught they are worthless and dirty and sinful. They must rebel to possibly live true to themselves, and how many of them just want the love and acceptance of their families and friends?
because they are people. Because we are people.
The "gay agenda" isn't about taking rights from Christians.
It is about not dying alone.
It is about not attempting to commit suicide twice and only the doctors knowing.
It's about not being committed to a program for depression and having no one waiting for you, encouraging you or even knowing what happened to you.
It's about not being dead for three weeks before someone finds you.
It's about not sleeping on a rug and owning just a computer, 4 sets of silverware a couple plastic bowls and a cookie sheet.
It's about having more options to have someone so you are not alone.
yes, many straight people have this same problem. so don't give me crap about it being "his lifestyle" as a personal chide to me. Anything about "his lifestyle" that is more lonely than being straight and monogamous is created by those who consider it to be evil.
but you know.. if he were accepted.... just maybe... just maybe... he might not have been alone. He's from an older generation. His was oppressed more than anyone now. And I know he was a softy. He was a big teddy bear, who probably hated himself for nothing more than how he was born.

I take a personal lesson from this. I hereby swear that no matter how desperately I may desire to run away and become a hermit and have nothing to do with humanity.....
I never will.
