So all day today I have been listening to emo/screamo music that I really enjoyed from high school. Currently, it's Dashboar'ds "Stolen"nb. I also found myself on here browsing my archives and I decided that it is time for me to start writing again.
I believe my last post was from when I first moved down to Florida four years ago. So much has happened. I have made a lot of friends since I moved here. Like anywhere though, it all feels the same. I have recently been torn between moving back home and staying here also. But I know if I go home after moving away, things are never going to be the same. And once winter comes, I will wonder what in the hell I was thinking. I just miss a lot of my close friends though. Being down here and starting fresh, I can honestly say that I miss my best friends, and my family...I miss the familiarity and just being around them. I don't know what to do anymore. But I will get back to this topic another time, when I feel like getting deeper about it because it always makes me sad with its bittersweetness.
So anyways, I worked at Panera Bread for the first week I got down here and for a company called Out Tonight. Those jobs were a bust. The first day I trained at Panera, I got a phone call from the Doubletree by Hilton that I had applied to and I ended up getting a job there serving and eventually bartending again. I made some wonderful friends there who are still like a little family to me now.
In my last post, Jerica had talked about subleasing to her friend Emily which I was uneasy about at first but it ended up working out great. Jerica and I are not really friends anymore but Emily and I still talk and I see her from time to time. But like everything as everyone gets older, everyone has their own shit that they have to do and take care of, so I do not see her as much as I'd like.
I moved into a new place on my own and eventually I got a job at Tapper; a hole in the wall (a block away from my house) about a year after working at the hotel (through a coworker) and I was bartending there two days a week. There is never a dull moment in there. Anyways, nutshell. I ended up leaving the hotel in 2014 and went to full time at Tapper. And I started going back to school. I decided to finish the whole nursing thing which I know is going to be a challenge but It will happen eventually. I'd really like to do the travel nursing thing. We shall see. =)
Anyways, I will saved the chronicals of my love life (or lack there of) and my adventures for another day. This is all for now! First update! Will blog again soon! =)
