one fine spring day.
pg, 200 words.
note: i based this off of ryeowooks solo song, but i didn't look at the lyrics, just went with the feel ;~; i hope you like it anyways. sorry for posting so many today, i'm going on hiatus for a while so i wanted to get this up before i left.
one fine spring day, ryeowook woke up to an empty bed and a note on his bedside table saying good bye. one fine spring day, ryeowook took a shower, alone. he ate alone, read alone, did everything he usually did with another--alone.
one fine spring day, he pretended his heart didn't hurt but the tears wouldn't let him lie. he was preparing kimchi when they came, dripping down his sharp cheeks and catching him so unawares that he almost cut himself with his knife. he remembered strong arms around him, a husky voice in his ear, filling his soul with happiness that was now gone. he remembered thinking that he'd never have to endure this sadness, not when the soft obsidian hair brushed against his cheek as their lips fit together like matching puzzle pieces.
one fine spring day, he lost jongwoon to the world, and each day forever after shall be filled with constant waiting. he'll go through the motions of being, but he'll wait, because he's always been a patient person.
because one fine spring day, ryeowook is sure jongwoon will return, because good bye never really means good bye unless the other tells you face to face.
