in grecian harmony
there's a melody, a capella
promises that stretch over eternity
in a world that abides by sincerity
and oh i feel like dancing
it doesn't matter if the satin silk can't fall
over the forms i have
pvc dome won't make the world grow brighter
i could sing of your love forever
prescibe and describe my illness, please
and watch your diagnosis fall in pieces
i'm trading in my sickness.
as worldly attention clamours for grace
clutching at neurons like tightly-woven rubber bands
and struggling to stay awake, fighting to keep at it
pushing aside these
distractions which so painfully wrench me away
but if velvet makes the skin feel so tantalizing to
the touch
no navel ring will claim my soul.
