there's a very nice article today in the New York Times, (Escapes section) about the Martin Guitar factory! of all places. I have a Martin guitar and I've wanted to go and take the tour since I bought it. Just for something to do one day. I bought mine at Mandolin Brothers, which may bery well be the gretest guitar storre on the East Coast. I should take pictures of the place next time I go. It's a very unassuming looking store on Forest Avenue in Staten Island. But you walk in and there is room after room after room of great guitars on the walls. Mandonlins too. One room for them. They only carry the best brands and it's mostly Martin. I think that most of their sales are Martin. Mine is a 16 series with a cutaway. The sixteen series is more or less their budget series, or their mid priced guitars. It's a fabulous guitar. For what I paid there is no better. That I'm sure. Every time I'm in some guitar store and I pick up one that costs more than mine, It makes me like mine even better. One day I'll do the tour.
