Rose is back to studying cooking because the heir wants to get into Private School. And whatever Kumquat wants, Kumquat gets. Besides, he mostly wants to skill build anyhow, that's easy and inexpensive!
Kumquat has a girlfriend!! Her name is Amaranth, and she's got fairly nice genetics.

Rat and Marigold are still seeing eachother, Marigold is almost an adult. There must be something in the townies' water because they never seem to age unless they grow up with one of my playable sims...so I guess their relationship is okay.

Pumpkin is very proud of his hunk of junk car. He painted it orange, but it looks more yellow orange to me. Pumpkin's shirt is orange, but that car is not orange. Now to sell it!
Marigold looks stunning! I'll be sad to see her go though, she got along very well with her siblings, Pumpkin and Kumquat didn't care for eachother. Probably because Kumquat took Pumpkin's spot to be heir.

Now that Marigold is old enough, Rat proposes to her! That's a very shiny ring, I guess being General and all gives him a good income.
They love eachother a lot and got married right away, before they moved out. Pumpkin moved out right after them. So now it's only Corn, Rose, and Kumquat!

Rose has built up so much enthusiasm for cooking, that she was invited to Sue's (Secret) Kitchen. This guy is the head dude here...are you Sue? And it doesn't look like much of a secret, there is Noelle Rainbow, and a guy named Ethan Hanby.
Rose can also make some money here by making candies and packaging them! Although with Corn's job as a General, and three teen sims at the top of their job...the Regnbue's are not short on money.
Rose decides to submit her Baked Alaska (which makes no sense to me. Alaska is freezing cold, and to bake something means to heat it up...), the head cook also submits Baked Alaska, Noelle submits pancakes, and Ethan submits Hamburgers. If the guy from The Pink Panther(2006) were judging, then Ethan would surely win!
However, he's not and Rose's Baked Alaska dessert wins!! Yay Rose! Noelle does not look very happy that her Pancakes lost.
It's just a competition guys, it's not that serious. I'm sure Noelle's pancakes were great, but Rose's Baked Alaska was all sparkly because of her fresh produce. And no need to take it out on Sue! He's got enough problems being named Sue as it is.
Seriously, you would have thought it was the Miss USA pagent or something the way she's carrying on. However Sue proceeded to pick on her throughout the day. At least he saved her from being an alcoholic. After the loss at the table, she went straight to the bar and ordered a drink. Which was stolen by Ethan after Sue poked Noelle.
Ethan, isn't that your fourth drink already? It really isn't that bad! There's always next time to submit even better food!
Rose tries to cheer poor Noelle up with a joke, at least it kept Sue from poking her continuously. They were playing duck duck goose around the bar, Sue poking and Noelle going off to cry, followed by Sue poking again.
Aww, they're so cute together. Both of them all old and gray. There isn't much to do now that they only have Kumquat at home. Rose still hasn't reached her LTW, although they have been married a while, I would have thought the Golden Anniversary would have come up. I've never played a family for this long, so I don't think I've ever fulfilled that LTW.
