I finally got over being too nervous to look at my grades from last semester long enough to do it.
Liberal Arts and Sciences - A
Introduction To Fiction - A
American Music - B
Intro to Sociology - B
I was seriously jumping up and down with happiness. I was expecting I would probably at least get a C in Music. This is awesome.
We did the last day of Kitty's film festival today. She made us pasta to go with Moonstruck and it was a good time. Except it's freezing at Shep's place all the time.
I finished watching A Very Long Engagement and the ending seemed a lot more optimistic than I remember interpreting it to be the first time I saw it. Which makes it just about the only somewhat happy part of the movie, haha. I still just don't understand where the whole Gaspard-IS-Edward idea came from in the Twilight fandom, but I have to admit there's something about him as Manech that is sort of Edwardish in his personality.
I'm in a weird mood where I feel like listening to nothing but the Chili Peppers, Thomas Newman, Grizzly Bear, and the Lord of the Rings soundtracks. Yeah, I don't know. I feel like I'm getting close to deciding it's time to reread the whole LotR series again and actually finish The Hobbit, too. This will of course inevitably be accompanied by an epic marathon of the extended movies and the special feature documentaries and me finally assembling a mix of my favorite music from all the scores.
