Wow, I'm totally not the only person feeling woes over the release date.
buttfacemakani writes: Crap maan.. Just realized I'm not going to finish Project HBP or
fanart100. Not that was I actively working on either or felt like finishing them anymore, but still. What I DO want to finish is the stupid lucissa comic thing before it's proven all wrong and we find out that Lucius really is just a cold heartless manipulative killer because JKR's story really needs two Tom Riddles. Rly, it does.
THERE'S LIKE A BAMILLION OTHER THINGS I WANNA DO BEFORE JULY TOO OMG SO MUCH TO DOOOOO I'M SAD.
To which several people commented "OMG I knooooow." LOL. I'm not alone being totally pathetic.
But in light of knowing how much time I have to write certain things now, this is the current list of absolutely everything I have filed away in my brain in the "TO WRITE" drawer:
Original Shit
Never Fade - My baby. 4 chapters completed but probably all needs to be starte over (I have to change Sonatine's name to Aria and show more than tell in the flashbacky chapters because they're redundant and boring).
The Man In Green - A fantasy alternate-reality world spin on the super hero story, in which the real identity of the super hero is a quiet and broody James Dean type who doesn't seem to give a crap about anybody. Oh, and he's a slave. I've had this idea for a couple years and haven's as much as written the first sentence but it won't leave me alone.
Harry Potter Fanfic
"Requiems"* - Marauder-era fic which has been a work-in-progress for I think more than three years. Nearly finished except for less than one chapter. Go me.
"Fortress"* - The whole damn story about Remus and Tonks starting from the summer before Harry's 5th year and going through his 6th.
"The Gentle Flow of Time" - How Andromeda Black started dating Ted Tonks but didn't actually fall in love with him until much later. I hope I come up with a better title, it's supposed to relate to the metaphor of water wearing something away very slowly over time which I use to describe how Andromeda gets revenge on people slowly and patiently, and also softens up to Ted very gradually, and how she's both kind of soft and loving and very bitter and angry at the same time.
"The Boggart In the Vending Machine"* - A short Snape crack!fic I've had an idea for a long time. Haha.
"Blind Man's Bluff"* - A Snape/Lily ficlet that will shamelessly rip off of the scene in Sleepy Hollow when Ichabod and Katrina first meet each other.
Not Titled Yet Thingy* - That one about Remus and Tonks discovering that the Death Eaters have a cure for werewolfism that I got the idea for.
*probably needs to be finished before Book 7 to be faithful to canon or for people to have much interest in it.
Queer As Folk Fanfic
Teh Evil Deathfic - The big bad post-series B/J thingamajig. FINISHED WEEE
"Pretending To Be Asleep" - A B/J drabble
"Always Lois Lane" - How Michael and Brian met in junior high and became BFF.
"Children's Play" - How Brian and Lindsay met in college and didn't like each other at first but somehow had ew het sex once and became BFF.
"Out of Nowhere" - A hard-boiled crime story that I will attempt feebly to write in the style of James Ellroy, with Brian as a detective and Justin as a kind of "homme fatale." Oh, how I wish I was kidding.
"Some Verses" - Alternate-universe B/J fic that takes a different turn of events after episode 121, and will involve Ethan in a maybe unexpected way.
"Remember This" - A sequel to "Precious," more commonly refered to as Teh Evil Deathfic since I hate that title. Justin's art career gets kind of crazy, my OCs Luke and Stephan are involved a lot, and I think the whole thing will take place in New York while Brian is visiting there.
