Mod Post.
First of all, a big hearty thank you and a round of applause for the authors who've gotten their fics posted! For authors who've also received their fics in turn, don't forget to drop the author of your fic a quick thank you for their hard work. Really, it goes without saying that y'all are amazing, and thank you for participating in the fic exchange!
If you have yet to receive your fic exchange assignments, and were therefore unable to finish by the 8th August deadline, please send a PM to chosenfire28, who will try to figure out what happened and, if needed, get a back up writer. Also, do let us know if you are able to write a fic as a backup author, just in case the original author to whom the assignment was given to is unable to participate, so everyone gets their fics. :)
- After this fic exchange is over, we will start with our bi-weekly prompts - every two weeks. We'll be awarding fics from 1st through 3rd places, chosen by member voting, and we'll also have a fic named "Mod's Choice" for every round; chosenfire28, supermeklot, and I will be alternating each round to pick the Mod's Choice. Each member chosen will have a snazzy banner for their profile, journal, wherever they wish to put it.
We are definitely open to suggestions for prompts, so a separate post will be put up just for that.
