Latest News:
- Kerie and I broke up about a month ago, pretty much right after her graduation. I really should have done it before then. She's still living with me and will continue to do so through the summer, or until she gets a job in her field. This is thrilling, let me assure you. Her sister is also coming back, but isn't going to be staying nearly that long. Pretty much, neither of them have anywhere else to go at the moment, so I'm letting them stay. I think a lot of this consists of me being too nice, however. I keep telling myself that if Kerie starts bitching me out about stuff, I'll simply respond with "This isn't working. Please find another place to live." but I don't actually know if I would or not.
- I've not been out to SCA or Amtgard in a good long while. I went to Amtgard this past week after about a five week hiatus, and I don't know if I can actually keep playing this game here. I really don't like the locals, or the way they pretty much only play by the parts of the rulebook they like. SCA-wise, I've just been too busy on fighter practice nights to make it out. This sucks because I had just decided to start keeping a fighting journal to document how I was doing, what I need to work on, etcetera and so forth. It has one entry in it.
- I've tried to start working out. That's fairly on again off again, but I really am making an effort.
- The semester went okay. I pulled a 3.25 and worked for it. I'm taking summer classes right now. I just finished up with the special education one and got an A. Monday I start both my theatre practicum and my Shakespearean histories class.
- My birthday's in less than two weeks. I'm kind of sad that this is the first birthday I've had that I can remember that I've not been excited about. I'm not even bothering to invite anyone over for cake this year. Ah well. A few days before it, I'm going to Delaware to visit Ellie for her birthday LARP. I'm just going to pretend she's throwing the party for my birthday instead of her own. ;)
- It's frikkin' weird to be up at 6 and realize that the sun is shining through your window. Since when does the sun get up that early? How about some consistence?
