Just a thought....
do you ever remember....
when you used to play with cars, barbies, and in make believe homes with plastic kitchen stoves?
you know it never occurred to us back then....
that growing up could be a lot more than we bargained for
Because now, instead of playing with cars, we drive them, worry about gas, insurance rates, wrecks, and speeding tickets.
Because now, instead of playing with barbie we're competing with barbie...
And because now, we worry about the money to pay the gas and electric bills for our kitchens and to buy the food that isn't so imaginary anymore...
It's a wonder, how things were so simple back then, but we clung to the hope that one day we'd have it all, that we just wanted to grow up so badly....
and now that we're here, don't you wish we could just go back?
