CONGRATULATIONS USA!!!!
I tried to keep awake last night but kept nodding off again and again (Where's my insomnia when I need it?). Anyway, everytime I woke up, there was another state, the Republicans had considered "theirs" gone to Mr. Obama. The count wasn't rising but jumpin'! I'm a very much relieved world-citizen today. I know expectations are high, too high at this moment and I can only hope they'll cool down and reason will take their place. Nobody, short of a real Messiah could repair the damage done over the last 8 years in the short time of a presidency, even a double one. But he can make a good start and perhaps give somebody else the time to groom himself to step into his shoes and continue the work. And, more important, he can give people hope again and a sense of worthiness.
And last but not least: you have to believe in the dedication of a man who keeps his appointment with those who are willing to listen to him, even if it's raining cats and dogs!;-)
