Self-examination is usually something we bury behind our conscious thought. I often wonder what is wrong with me that I cannot do the same. Everywhere I turn in my life, I see a problem that I caused or cannot fix- it is vexing to be unable to ignore, believe me.
I am full of contradictions, I suppose this is because it takes a long time to smooth out wrinkles in one's tides turning. I am in love with an ideal of what life should be. I suppose this is the same for most of society; it seems to be the driving force, the reason people continue on day after day- the great American Dream. My dream, of course, is a little off-beat from this; it nonetheless resembles it, and so I realize I have something of a problem- I'm hypercritical of myself for not attaining these nearly unreachable goals instantly. Oftentimes, more so than not, however, I think I am taking life a little too step-by-step; here we have a contradiction, bringing us back to our original point. Some time ago I came to the realization that idealism is not healthy, contrary to what others may believe, I think it damaging. But then, there is a balance in everything, is there not?.... I digress.
'What is happiness to you?' the spider asked the fly; but the fly could not answer.
I say 'Que diferencia haceria?'...
