Grateful to be alive.
I was nearly run over by a motorcycle this morning.
That left me frazzled for a while, but what pissed me off even more was that the bloody apek did not even look at where he was going. Turning out of the junction, he blatantly plundered into my path without even attempting to slow down or steer away. At that point, I was cursing and wishing upon him the most horrific death, but after taking a few moments to calm down, I expressed my gratitude for still being alive and blessed him with a safe journey ahead. No point in spoiling a great day ahead.

It's patent or nothing these days, innit? This morning, I saw not one, not two, but THREE girls in a row, wearing black patent shoes with either a matching patent tote or a faux leather tote. Let's see, there was a pair of plain black patent heeled pumps, a pair of black patent mary jane flat pumps, and a pair of black patent frilled open toe heels. whew. No matter what they say, ("grey is the new black"), black will always be the perennial classic. You just can't go wrong with black.
