Beach Fug.
For someone who claims to go for clothes with an elegant touch, there is nothing elegant at all about the outfit that she chose to wear at the opening of Cafe del Mar at Siloso Beach. And that ding-dong Belle still has the audacity to introduce this fug to us as one of the "head turners" she spotted.
Yes, my head is definitely spinning at this bland and blah outfit. (I am thinking that Belle was probably desperate at the lack of head turners that night and just grabbed the nearest sweet looking thing with long rebonded hair and two inches of powder on the face with nary a sense of style, so that she could meet her deadline. Oh, the clueless.)
Plain white tank? Done to death.
Mini skirt with cheap-looking floral design at the hip? How elegant.
Going to a beach party dictates comfortable yet glamorous attire. I bet she was comfortable but she definitely wasn’t glamorous. Comfort first, you say? I agree but considering the occasion (the opening of a hip new beachfront club, hello?), wouldn’t you want to dress up a little more? Is it too much to ask for her to accessorize with some beaded necklaces, or a couple of chunky wooden/bronzed bangles?
I would much prefer to see this:
Paired with gold accessories (gold hoops with a single long necklace and gold bangles or chunky wooden ones), complete with a pair of gold Havaianas. Classy.
p/s She might be sartorially-bland but she sure has a lot of confidence. She needs it, poor lass.
