Sewing update

I made a dirndl skirt using the instructions here (modified to add a side-seam pocket and use a button and tab closure). It's a little short because I underestimated how much fabric I would need, and a little ridiculous because, well, sometimes I make interesting decisions at the fabric store.
Surprisingly, I am becoming more conservative with regard to clothing as I age and am unsure if this will make it out of the house, though here I am posting it for the entire internet to see. Dear Internet, yea or nay?
P.S. I am slightly mortified by the photographic evidence of COBWEBS ON MY CEILING, but not enough to take new pictures, so uh, please ignore them as well as my unmade bed.
