(no subject)
It is wet and windy and cold and I am off to roll around in the mud on treasure island and hit tiny college girls. I bought a shiny new laptop, because my turn-of-the-century imac wouldn't connect to the wireless network in the house I moved into, and having internet access at home is making my life more convenient, but not really any happier. I shouldn't be surprised by this yet I am, slightly.
There's a farmer's market two miles from my house, and when I take the backroads home from San Francisco at night after rugby practice it is all empty road and desolate darkness. These things are making my life happier.
My hiking date for tomorrow cancelled on me, which might be for the best judging by the weather, so I'm thinking about making marmalade with the meyer lemons from the tree in my front yard. I am pretty good at making jams, but am very very open to accepting marmalade tips, should any of you have some to share. If you have any friends on the peninsula to recommend to me, I wouldn't mind that either.
