Ha ha, i don't usually like these quizzes, but this one made me laugh- i had no idea who i would come out as.
You are Napoleon Dyanamite and a buttload of gangs
are trying to recruit you.
Which Napoleon Dynamite character are you? brought to you by
Quizilla Alex, the litle girl we trick-or-treated with last year, is apparently going as Napoleon this year. I hope when i have a child, they are this cool!
So vacation was cool- going home was simultanelously strange and great at once. Florida went realy fast, and was lots of fun. I just got all my photos back, and for the most part, they look awful. I had the mistaken impression that 800 speed film was very sharp, but it's actually grainy. Then i thought 'at least it's good for low light, indoor stuff' but all the wedding photos are awful, too. I plan to see what i can enhance on the computer. It's time to add a digital camera to my repertoire.
Anyhoo, here are a couple of the photos:
here we are in hats we didn't buy...
There's still a bunch of photos in an unfinished roll... i love getting film developed.
In non-photographic news, we've been busy as usual at work. We lost our assistant manager, and are going to do without until the holidays are over, i think. Some people suggested i go for the job, but i don't think i want it. I don't think they want me for it either. I do, however, want to become the store's 'coffee master.' I want to know all kinds of crap about coffee. The other day there was an annoying customer asking us stupid bean questions, like "are these arabica beans?" and we were like "derrrrr..." I hate not being able to answer know-it-all customers. One of the worst customer types is the people who think they know a lot about coffee and making espresso drinks and stuff, and have nothing better to do with this knowledge than use it to question how you do your job. I want to retaliate by being the biggest know-it-all ever!
Our stray cat, Tigger, is in the process of being offered for adoption through the Felines and Friends program. They did some tests and vaccinations for free at the vet and now want him to stay indoors- a difficult proposition with Nicole's allergies. Right now, he's living in my bathroom, which has been working fine for the past few days. He has a leash and harness and i take him outside for supervised outside time. He likes to nap in the bathroom sink, and is extra-cuddly. I really really hope he gets a great home. We wish we knew someone who could adopt him, but none of our small group of friends wants a cat. This saturday he's going to his first adoption day, where a bunch of cats spend the day on display at local pet stores, to entice people with their cuteness and cuddliness- we'll see how that goes.
The next thing i am looking forward to is going to see Green Day in ABQ sometime in Oct. My friend Kim from work is also going, and we are trying to find out if anyone else we know is, and if they want to be our designated driver. I just bought myself American Idiot yeterday- I heard it awhile ago and it was really good- they are one of those bands i never realized had so many songs i knew and liked. I also got myself Kanye West's new CD- golddigger is the catchiest song ever, and the rest of the album sounds interesting so far. I was just reading about how he blurted out some unscripted criticisms on live tv at a hurricane katrina fundraiser- good for you, Kanye!
Well, it's time to watch unsolved mysteries and give Tigger some outside time before work. Sayonara.
