holy shit, it's been a long time since i updated, or was in touch with anyone in any way, besides those i see every day.
our phone was turned off for a while, and i'm so happy to have it back, only to have internet access at home again- the phone itself isn't even working, not sure why, don't really care.
what have we been up to? Hmmmmm.... working all the time, it feels like. went to aunt kim and jamie's wedding in arizona, which was awesome. getting used to the new place, which is still largely unpacked and quite messy. taking care of the zoo, which has expanded yet again to include a little friend for Steve- we thought of calling him Adam ("Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!") but somehow Jeremy seems to have stuck. We have been on a diet- low carb and green tea. During the wedding weekend we went off a bit and have had a hard time getting back into it, especially since we both got sick after getting home from AZ. Otherwise, it's been going good, and i feel less bloated and potbellied. Nicole looks good, too! I've never been on a diet before and it was so hard at first. I was hungry all the time, since usuallly i can eat as much food as a 400-pound man. Our friends Sarah and Brandy and their son Andrew were visiting from Portland last weekend, which also happened to be Pride weekend. I had to work every single fucking night, so i missed most of the fun, but it was awesome to see them again. Andrew is the most adorable kid, and if i ever have one, i want it to be like him.
otherwise not much. trying to figure out what i'm doing and why, wishing it was all a little more exciting, wishing i was a little less boring, but all in all i'm in a good place. just not sure what i'm doing there.
