(no subject)
i went to the easter vigiole on friday. My family should NOT be allowed in church. Of course, i was perfect and did not fling hot wax at my brother the whole time.
It was actually really cool. the last time i went i think i was like 9. i forgot all about it. with all the catholic crap the church has, its basis isnt that bad. the priest gave this whole speech on why they leave the lights off for an hour. he talked about how their is so much stimulation in the world, so many lights and brights. that we tend to over look the basics, what makes us human. we miss the people who are right in front of us. we spend so much time looking for that "something" that pizaze that we forget that in the end it all comes down to whats always been in front of you the whole time. if only we could shut the lights of the outside world out then maybe we would all be able to see a bit more clearly.
i dunno i thought it was a pretty sweet speech. made me think of jeanie. god do i miss her, she was so amazing. she spent everyday loving her life, she never forgot to say i love you even if she was mad. i just wish her death would stop torturing me so. alright, ill stop complaining.
