1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Got pretty drunk. Let's hear it for bad livers that are apparently no longer bad. Also, Amaretto, because that shit is tasty. Also, got busted by security and my parents for smoking the ganj

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I had any. Probably not.

3. Did someone close to you give birth?
Yep

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No one close
5. What countries did you visit?
i don't think i visited any

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?.
Mans. If you're familiar with the "man" dialect, you know what i'm takking about.

7. What dates from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
January like...3rd, because that's the day I cut my hair really short and stopped looking like an ass. Prom and Paul's afterparty because everyone was puking and i just laughed. My birthday party at Paul's house, the two weeks that my parents were in Montreal during the summer. Christmas Day and subsequent adventures on Christmas Day, including drinking, sushing, and climbing the Silo. Brit's party (drunk and stoned? shit yes.)

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Seeing collarbones! Seriously, I never had collarbones before i started working out. I'm pretty fond of them.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Talking things out with various people - instead i just said nothing and let things stew. A decidedly stupid idea.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
probably In Flames concert tickets
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Greg, you got your shit together, got into college, and are currently maintaining an amazing GPA. Though it may not be my place to say it, i'm proud of you buddy. Same deal with Simone, daddy's proud. Lisa chilled out significantly, which is cool

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Sholars, your inaugaration into the world of alcohol pissed me off to no end, but we's cool now.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Food, bud. That's really about it.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
In Flames concert, Christmas break and all the parties associated with the break. Seeing people I hadn't seen in a long time (i.e. Lisa, Liisa). Hosting Artsfest (which, if i may say without sounding too smug, I completely rocked)

16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
Goo Goo Dolls - Iris

17. Compared to this time last year,

i. are you happier or hardened?
Is it possible to be both? I think i'm both - my sense of self and where i'm going has definitely solidified, and i'm very happy with that. Nor am i so naive any longer, which I am also pleased about.

ii. thinner or fatter?
Thinner. Go collarbones!
iii. richer or poorer?
Richer

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Meeting new people at University.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
being depressed over dumb shit.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Being as Christmas has passed, I think i'll give a brief re-cap of my Christmas day. I started the day off waking up to an empty house, because the rest of my family was in Niagara Falls. I called up Tim, and we proceeded to have a session in my garage with Greg and Lawrence, which was amazing. We watched National Treasure, and smoked another joint. For dinner, I went to an all you can eat Japanese restaurant with the family, and it was delish. Then i decided i didn't really want to sit at home for the rest of the night, so I decided to see if people were up for a movie. 12 people came to see Night at the Museum, and in the interim between meeting at my house and going, we rolled 5 (count 'em, five) joints. By the time we got there, the movie had started and there was no time to bun. so we watched the movie completely sober, which was entertaining enough but terribly predictable. Then some of us went to Greg's house, where a game of King took place, I shushed people, and a walk to the silo was had. All in all, an amazing day, which ended up with me driving everyone home in Matt's van.
