So, apparently on the Blu-Ray version of True Blood season three, there is this feature called True Bloodlines, which gives a brief history and character connections for like allll of the characters on the show. I had no idea this feature existed because, uh, I just download everything illegally. But I found out about it yesterday and to my surprise, I actually got show canon for Sophie-Anne's backstory! EXCITING.
- Born and made vampire in the 15th century. (I'm assuming late 15th century if she's closer to being 500 than 600.)
- From northern France.
- Her name was Judith. (INTERESTING... No idea when she changed it, though. I'm assuming that Leclerq is actually her original last name, possibly with an updated spelling.)
- Her maker forced her into prostitution until he was staked and dumped in the Seine.
- She then rescued an orphan named Andre Paul and made him her vampire companion and personal bodyguard for two centuries.
Pretty similar to book canon, but at least I know that it's show canon as well now. :X
