Sitting in the shadows
Forever glaring at the door
One with a bright glow through the edges
Left alone to think
But only accepted to think of her
Noticing the one bladed ceiling fan
Spinning in a counter-clockwise motion
As if time does not exist
Thoughts of one last wish
One last dream before the end
Thoughts of the last thing he would tell her
The glow gets brighter
The room lit up as if the sun was right in front of him
He is able to stand on his own again
As if he was imprisoned to the shadows
He closes his eyes as he walks through the door
If this is when he should be judged
He will go with a clear mind and a pure heart
He falls with hands resting on his abdomen
He takes his last breathe
And with this breathe everything was said and done
She timelessly stares at him as he falls
Now she stands on this rock cold and alone to live with regrets
With tears of sorrow running down her cheek
Gently dropping a rose into the earth
She silently says what she neglected to tell him before
"i love you"
