i love you, don't touch me.
i don't remember when i updated last. i could look but i am too lazy. i believe it was Saturday morning, so i will continue from saturday night.
it was a pretty kick back night. wifey and i did some shopping, and got a new mouse pad (among other things) with a cat and a rat about to touch noses. it's cute and since we have 2 cats and a rat we thought it was suiting. i had $20 in trade for a steak house in town so we went to dinner. it was great. we had to take the food home because the portions were HUGE. it cost as much as a regular place (black angus for instance) but twice the meat. awesome.
after we got home people started showing up, slowly. James was first, then Alex, followed one at a time by Courtney, Mark, Chimpo (who just showed up to bum a smoke), and Amy. no eric though, he had a date. Courtney and Sara (wifey) were hell bent on getting drunk, and the rest of us just B.S.ed. the night ended at 3am with a very drunk Courtney and a 10am road time. since Eric wasn't there it was kinda quiet at times. weird.
The next morning i had to get a liquid bandage for the horror that is my foot. and it was off the Eric's. then we hit the road for the comic-con. we got there at noon, like i planned. right off we bought some heroclix. the value was just too good. we signed up for the free raffle, walked the show, and in the end would up buying more heroclix from the same guy. we only spent about 2.5 hours there (it was nowhere near as huge or spectacular as misseianna's anime-con), and at 3pm, right after we left, my wife won the $50 shopping spree. that is our luck. she wins stuff but my bad luck makes it useless. ohh well. i spent half of what i was planning so that was a bonus. we ate a late lunch at some buffet place in sacramento and then went home. i bought the move birdcage at target (i love that movie) so i watched that as i ran back and forth doing laundry.
Wifey helped me with my resume and i sent it in to a voice over agency today. more problems occurred at work. the operations manager didn't want some commercials to run yet even though they had already been paid for. i know somehow it is going to fall on me.
