the day after the day?

yesterday was so fucking easy. on a 3 day weekend i plan on putting in at least 10 hours of work. nope. not this time around. we were all so paranoid abut the weekend that we worked far enough ahead to only have like 1-2 hours of work. it was dope, wifey and i hit the Memorial day sales at the mall. between the 2 of us we got 2 pairs of jeans, 3 shirts, and 3 under shirts for $49.63. i used to like shopping, for me or someone else. now i only like shopping for wifey. but yesterday she made me find some clothes and i actually had a good time again. after that we had to hurry and get dinner. KFC it was. then home to eat and off to the movies!

we hooked up with eric and james for "the day after tomorrow" and prepared to be visually entertained for the next 2 hours. the previews sucked. and the movie wasn't exactly "academy award" material., but we had fun. special effects have come so far. and jesus, one of the characters looks like Toby McGuire's twin. rumor has it he might be on Spiderman 4. my issue with the movie was the message. it was a VERY liberal flick. now it's not that i am a hardcore conservative, but i don't like politics of any kind being thrown in my face unless i am in a political debate. but not at a damn movie. the whole movie was a warning of global warming, and the greenhouse effect. and it was basically said that by using fossil fuels, pollution, etc....humnity caused this massive problem. but in the beginning of the movie they talk about this same thing happening 10,000 years ago. so why did it happen 10,000 years ago? woolly mammoth's driving SUV's? too many cavemen not recycling? nope. it just happened then. but we made it happen now....ridiculous.

then it was home for beers and a 2 hour discussion on heroclix. i called it a night after that.

well i am off to search for a new icon. i was told i look naked in my current one.
